  1. Philippians 2:3 ‘Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.’

    We need to think of our decisions, and the souls they affect. This does not mean we need to be hindered, but we have to be careful. We are responsible for caring for one another.

  2. I totally agree. When people are not responsible for their own happiness it can hurt those that love them by putting a burden on them. We cannot give others happiness – they have to find it in themselves. When we help them find happiness it can stunt them and create a co-dependent situation where that person relies on us for everything. It’s not to say to never help anyone, but if it’s a situation where the person never helps themselves, it may be best to let them figure it out on their own.
